Joint Credit Cards wanted.

in Credit cards
I am finding it difficult to find a joint credit card, with the same number, to share equally with my wife.
With Tesco I am the lead card holder. So only I can unblock the card after a shopping spree in London and it gets declined. Resulting in an unhappy wife. (I was not in London)
Despite already giving my wife as much authority as Tesco will allow.
Is there a card supplier that will give a genuine joint card with equal rights.
We don't care about interest.
Jeff & Helen.

I don't think there is such a thing. There is always a cardholder who is responsible for the bills and others are additional cardholders on the same account.
There are ways around it though. Many people here would recommend having more than one card in case one is blocked / lost / stolen etc.
Your wife could also have her own account, be the lead cardholder and do her own unblocking.0 -
Yes I think a second card would be the solution, with her as the lead card holder.
It was just easier with one bill.....0 -
No such thing
It's a card under the same account with the same card number just a different name.
The main account holder is still responsible.
Also the additional card holder can affect your credit history if they go over limit on the card or rack up a huge bill you can't pay.0
