Full service @ KwikFit - diag included?
Options
I made a post a month ago regarding my experience at Kwik-Fit and I learnt my lesson the hard way.
Anyway, cutting a long story short...
I was charged £50 for a diagnostic on my car only to later realize on the service checklist I was given and on the website - https://www.kwik-fit.com/servicing/packages/interim-and-full-service - a diagnostic check/report is inclusive of a full service.
I did bring this up with the center and regional manager but they simply told me to pay the sum for the diagnostic, or else they won't allow me to drive away.
Am I right to dispute this and request a refund?

What did they actually do on your car?
If they charged for a full service then added the diagnostic fee on top then it does look like they are taking the pee.
Might be worth firing off a few emails to their customer service dept of head office.
On the plus side if they only fleeced you for £50 you've probably done quite well!0 -
I keep being told "someone will contact you in 2 days", and then no-one contacts me.0

Bill has been paid, hence, "request a refund" :undecided0 -

Did you pay under protest?0 -

I didn't write paid under protest because I paid via visa debit and I was unaware of this procedure until I later researched it.
However, I did send an email to Kwik-Fit's CEO in regards to my dissatisfaction with this attempt to rip me off, among other things. Not sure if that counts?0
