strange and don't know why??

All of a sudden I have had a payment for a £2.50 sale held until either buyer has left feedback or x date.
Buyer has left positive feedback.
Really strange as I have had this account active for a few years.
Any ideas why?

It might be if you rarely sell, perhaps only every 3 months or more paypal could be classing you as an infrequent seller and holding the payment for security purposes despite you being with them a long time.0

Nope been regularly selling and always got items for sale
Account has been active for a few years.
If it was a high prices item I could understand.
Also got good feeback etc

Probably just another bit of eBay silliness, I no longer think there is any logic to some of the things they do.
Even now with a long standing business account I occasionally get a warning when listing that my funds might be held for 21 days, the warning always seems completely random.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
