Ebay functionality problems!

I have lost lots of ebay functionality recently including:
- being enable to save new or edit old 'saved searches' or 'saved sellers'
- My Summary list changes order whenever I move away from the page
I am sure its something to do with my laptop/settings/browser but I have googled to try to find solutions / left messages with ebay for assistance but no luck, so hoping some MSE's can help!
I now have an problem with a buyer but can't reply to ebay messages, I just get chucked out back to the log in page even though I am already logged on and go round in perpetual circles. If I don't respond to them they are going to find in the buyers favour (I know they likely will anyway) but its not having the functionality to have a right to reply.
Can anyone help.

Have you tried cleaning the cache, rebooting and trying again?

Have tried refreshing, rebooting and using different browser so tried all the usual things within my limited IT skills range!
I usually use Chrome but also tried it with IE and same lack of functionality there too.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
