    Even with projector lights, even though the beam cut off will be better, and probably not annoy oncoming car drivers, the beam pattern will still be way off and will vary between cars.... it could lead to driver fatigue, distraction or dead spots in the beam pattern.

    The light source from a HID bulb is in a different location within the bulb than from a Halogen burner and as the beam relies upon reflection, a 1mm difference on the source could have several meters of difference on the road.
