i pod contents to laptop

Hi all.

I'm sure there will be someone who will know how to transfer the music from an I pod to a laptop.

I have "Tunes" programme on my laptop but there isn't any music in the library. When I connect the I pod to the laptop "Tunes" opens and shows "my ipod" on the list and the music file.
I would like to know how to transfer the music from the I pod to my laptop which should then allow me to transfer the music from my laptop to my I phone.

Hi Jeff type the question into search on youtube and there will be plenty of videos showing you what to do and its all free

I thank you so much for your guidance.

After looking through Google I found nothing that was comprehensible, well not to me. YouTube was something I never thought about. After looking through a few of the video's I actually found one that spoke my language and now it's sorted. Thanks for suggesting youtube.
