Replacement wireless programmable room stat

Our 6 year-old Danfoss basic wireless room thermostat has developed a mind of its own and seems determined to either cook us alive or reduce us to poverty via our gas bill!
We want to replace it with a decent programmable wireless room thermostat, but the choice is bewildering and reviews of, for instance, the Danfoss TP1 and a nice-looking Siemens equivalent all mention reliability issues.
Can anyone recommend a reliable wireless programmable room thermostat that will work with our Worcester combi boiler?

if you don't want smart then last time I looked this one came out top of my list

In the end I went smart and got OWL as it also had temp/time control for my water tank.0 -
You can always choose something like http://amzn.to/2AAZKOI or buy a Honeywell equivalent which is double the price.
On the other hand, why not try a smart thermostat like Nest (http://amzn.to/2hvzDVy) or Hive (http://amzn.to/2hqcssb) which will help you save energy by learning your habits and also extend the controls to smartphone through which you can control away from home.
A smart thermostat may be slightly more expensive but will pay for itself with in a year.

Thanks getmore4less - the Honeywell looks just right, but on Amazon 50% of the reviews say the display fails within a couple of years. That's part of my dilemma!
magn8p - the wife just floored my by saying 'what about one of the Hive thingies'! previously she had said no way to fancy internet controls... I'll sneak Alexa in yet!0 -
Been using Digistat +3RF for years without any problems
>she had said no way to fancy internet controls.<
Put it on the wall, just don't connect to the boiler then the wee wifey can wind it up everytime she feels cold without causing sky-high fuel bills.0
