Paypal: Notice of Transaction Review

I have sold over 6,000 items on ebay and the same thing has just happened to me for. This is the first time it has happened and it was for £4.25!!!
I am so angry and frustrated, how dare Paypal treat us like some fraudulant criminals. I am going to have another glass of wine to try and calm down. £4.25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a buyer pay buy echeque recently which bounced on the day it was supposed to clear. On contacting him he complained about his bank charges, seemd he had insufficient funds in his account, & then promptly sent another echeque payment.

I have a NPB dispute open & ready for a strike if this one bounces!

Bit of an update

Thankfully I have a very honest buyer- I sent him a question to see if he knew anything and he said he'd received the items but had had to resend the payment as he had an old credit card on file and the payment had gone through his end after he'd updated things

Mean while I had given paypal all the info they requested and their ahem crack team of investigators looked into it and quote

"We have conducted a review of a payment that you received. In this case, returning the funds to the sender was determined to be the appropriate action, and we have completed a reversal of the payment. Good selling practices, like trackable delivery, prompt postage and communication between buyer and seller help prevent disputes."

I found this a bit weird as the buyer had received the goods and sent payment- thankfully the buyer was very understanding a re-sent apyment and phoned paypal to give them a rollocking
