Wickes kitchens any good?

Has anyone had a good or bad experience with Wickes kitchens?

We have a 12 yr old Wickes kitchen put in by the previous owners. We moved in 7 yrs ago, and it still looks in good condition, with all doors and drawers operating perfectly. Should easily last another 10 yrs with care. No idea though how much the previous owners paid for it.

One annoying issue is that there are a number of doors and cupboard sides/trims that are a different shade to the others - definitely something that I wouldn't have accepted as new, but can live with here.

If you are talking about the higher priced kitchens, these are the same as (and supplied by) Benchmarx - Worth getting a quote from them, not forgetting to haggle over the price.

The budget flatpack units are also available from Travis Perkins - This is the parent company of both Benchmarx and Wickes, which is why the kitchens are the same, all be it at different prices.

As for the quality/longevity of the kitchens, I can't comment - I've only used Benchmarx for a sink/tap combo along with some minor fittings.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Good in my experience. Had one for five years with no problems.
