Kids sewing machine

I bought a Tesco EJ09 second hand from ebay. The reviews say it is suitable for children, but it is also a great machine for adults too. I have done allsorts on it, i made clothes, handbags, make up bags, cushion covers, even a huge patchwork quilt! It is lightweight, does a good range of stitches, it has a zipper foot, a button foot, a a buttonhole guide, allsorts! I am sure it would be perfect for you, and it is reasonably priced. i bought mine as i said through ebay with my nectar points so basically got it for the postage cost, and it is a proper little work horse, well worth considering. I never realised sewing was such fun, and I am 52!!0

I bought my 9yr old DGD a Brother LS14, ideal for beginners, had instruction DVD, (as well as loads on U-tube) clear marking instructions on the machine itself for threading up, and not `fast`although it`s electric, so safer for a child to use. She got the hang of it very quickly and was able to use it independently - just as well as my DD is clueless!0
