This is a problem for me to.
A sibling died and left half the house we own to get son. He didn't want to sell as he does go back and stay in the place about 3 times a week.
He is a vulnerable young man with special needs but he's learning.
The solicitors for the estate were suppose to transfer everything over to him when he turned 21. It's not happened.
They keep saying it's because I have not completed an ID1 and TR1 but this is a lie as I posted about these form before and after the advise received I found a solicitor who verified every Thing and sent the estate solicitors a copy.

They still kept saying that I had not completed these forms.
I have now personally sent over 7 copies and my nephew has also included a copy when he asked for some funds for himself.

So he's had nothing. The only income in my household for.him is £55 a week and that's paid monthly.

So I'm effect I'm paying out of my own money to keep him safe.
The treats of taking ME to court to complete these forms and force a sell of the property. While my nephew has asked me to still please not sell I am at the point of just saying "Do it and then the solicitors can F off but I'm trying to let.him keep his space.

My letters are not answered.

My nephew is 22 now still at college full time and I for one would like things sorted. I have supplied his number and told them to call their client but he said this has not happened.

I've been trying to find him an advocate so that he gets some independent advice/help as it's def too much for me.

So that's where I'm at.
Anything else I can do because I think there is something odd going on as I know they have had the documents I sent some via Recorded Delivery.

Many thanks for any advice.

I have separated your post from the other thread so that it is more likely to be seen by other posters who can help.

I can't offer any advice myself but I hope that you are able to get the situation resolved.

I have had some difficulty following what you have written.
I presume that your nephew has an allocated social worker or someone similar?I suggest that you tell them that you both need help with an inheritance issue. if that doesn't work, then I suggest trying:
The welfare worker at your nephew's college
A local charity for people with learning disabilities, or contact a national charity such as Mencap.

Do not try to tell them the details at first. Say that you need help with an inheritance issue. Good luck

Thank you all. Kim_13 for moving and spliting my post, Cheeky for advice I where to repost.
My nephew does not have a Social worker for years now Jackyann the last one left and sent a letter informing me she'd signed him off as not meeting any further help as I was doing such a good job and she could see through our meetings how he has changed.

I wrote back saying he was still a vunerable young man and would need continued helped they revered me to an organisation that is seldom open.

I am due to speed to someone in Carers UK this week who I hope will able to advise me further. At least I hope they will.

    Again thanks for the replies.
