Hi there,
now is the time to talk with your people leader and explain the situation, and also ask for some help.
The situation with the former flatmate appears to be quite acrimonious and you never know what other fun she might have with regards telling people tales etc. Does she also work at the same Company? as many audit assistants seem to live together during their training contract.
A CCJ may interfere with your qualification, as maintaining your financial affairs is key to the ICAEW, thus you need advice from your people leader and PQT.
If you have issues PM me and I shall sort out putting you in touch with the correct people, I am also at your company, but do try your people leader first as they will have seen this before and be able to help.

Can I strongly suggest you do not give out personal details to other forum members, and also that you (and others) remove your employer details? You're one of thousands but you have a posting history that you may not want your colleagues or employer to be aware of.
(I'm sure Rikbar's offer is well intentioned, but you don't know who they are or what they do for your employer. You could potentially be giving your details and your posting history to a manager or HR.)0 -
Hi Guys,
People Leader is a specific role within the Company structure and is the right person to talk to whenever anything like this externally may pop up and cause problems etc (it is the person responsible in each team for staff matters, and assists with both work and non work related issues)
I completely understand that I could be anyone and whilst happy to help appreciate that you should not be passing out information to anonymous individuals on the internet, and I too would not recommend it.
I hope all of this gets settled soon

A "people leader" is the latest US fad management to cross the ocean. It will last about as long as all the others. When you strip away all the fancy jargon, it is a manager. Employed by the employer. Never forget that. Some managers may be good, some not so good. But they are still managers - they are not on your side! So you either trust them, or not, but don't ever forget who they are....0

thanks everyone.
yeah it's a tricky situation. she doesn't work for the same company as me but she feels the fees are unfair - me and the other tenant feel she should pay them as she is the one moving out, but she is only willing to pay 1/4 (wants me and the other tenant to pay a share, and the incoming tenant). the other flatmate told the incoming tenant he didn't have to pay any fees and the outgoing tenant will pay them all, so shes really annoyed and refusing to pay someone else's share. plus the agency recommended the fee split so in court that might mean something and i don't know if i could take her to small claims over that.0 -

It doesn't matter how unfair she feels the fees are. What has she signed for in her contract? This is HER share. If she finds an incoming tenant, she could possibly contract with them to pay her share in return for the fab flatshare they are getting. If she has not found the tenant (or has, but has failed to cover herself) she remains liable for what SHE signed up for.Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
she has paid the agency 1/4 of the fees, the incoming tenant and the other tenant want her to cover the fees for the incoming tenant as well but she's saying that the other girl should have told the tenant they have to pay fees as thats standard when u rent through an agency. she's paid 288. they want her to pay the new tenants 288 as well.0

I think I agree with the agency then, except that your post doesn't make that much sense. What 'other girl'? 1/4 of what fees? If you explain the situation fully, people will be able to try to help.
For example - I imagine 1/4 of the fees might relate to the fact that there are 4 of you in this flat, but that's a guess...... (you, the incoming tenant, the mysterious 'other tenant' and ?????)Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
