The 2 months they are happy with. This has been agreed.0 -
You won't save money if the panels cost you £20,000 to buy the leasing company out. It doesn't cost that much to have your own fitted and people who have their own fitted get the FIT as well.
I won’t be buying the leasing company out... It’s not something I would even put on my house as a choice. I am merely saying that given the fact I work from home I see a benefit in having the panels.0 -
I can't really see what is so fantastic about this house that it is worth this much hassle. Was it cheap for the area or something because the vendors knew about the problem getting a mortgage because of the solar panels lease?
Yeah, it is the perfect home for us at a great price in a rapidly increasing area. If we were to back out now and look for a different house without panels we would easily be paying 5% more and we don’t want to as we love this house. The town is full of houses with solar panels. The company who fitted them are an approved company. All the paperwork is there. It is just a couple of issues that the mortgage lender want reassurance on which will get resolved it just takes time.0 -
Hi, sorry to dig up an old thread but we’re having the same issue. What was the resolution? It’s the only query holding up the purchase0

Again, we are having the same issue with the same rubbish company, can anyone on here confirm if they managed to get a mortgage on a house that has leased panels from ASG?0
