PCN: Southend Airport Retail Park Service yard

Hi all,
I'm posting this for two reasons: firstly, to ask for some assistance with my appeal process and secondly, to keep a record of a (hopefully successful) appeal against ParkingEye for a PCN issued for the Southend Airport Retail Park Service Yard; perhaps it may be of use to other readers in the future.
We received a PCN from ParkingEye back in October and, with the assistance of the guidance on this forum, I submitted an online appeal to ParkingEye which, as expected, has been rejected. I am now at the stage of preparing my appeal to POPLA for which I will endeavour to use the guidance here but I may need some of your expertise to review the appeal and assist me before I send it in!
As I said, I am putting together an appeal to POPLA using the really helpful stuff on this forum. Once I have it completed, I will post another link for you to view and comment on. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to add them!
Thank you all!

Due to forum rules, I can't post links as a new user!
As soon as I am able, I will post links to the redacted versions of the correspondence already exchanged.
Sorry!

That edition has carried a good few portions of fish and chips - since 1st May 2012!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Firstly, thank you for setting up this forum. :A I found it a useful pointer when contesting my ParkingEye Ltd Penalty Charge Notice - a case I have just successfully appealed through POPLA. :j
I am professionally qualified in contract law and it was also my contention that the ParkingEye Ltd signage at the Southend Airport Retail Park Service Yard was unenforceable in a court of law for a number of reasons. POPLA have just confirmed in writing to me that:"Parking Eye Ltd have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge.":TLike you, I will shortly be posting my appeal letter and evidence submitted to POPLA in the hope that (at least some of) the detail contained within it will help others defend themselves from unfair parking charges raised in relation to this specific site - and elsewhere as appropriate.
The contentions raised in my case will not be relevant to all of course, but I hope it goes some way to redressing the disproportionate power this organisation (and others like it) have in comparison to unsuspecting motorists.
My motto - even if you fail in the appeal process - make them work hard for your money!
Edited to porvide link to on line appeal: (copy, paste into browser and insert "www [dot] dropbox [dot]" before the link):

Great result. :T
Would it please be possible to start a new thread, adding a bit of background and the key issues you feel you were ahead of the PE game to force them to scurry away.
This will be really helpful to those who travel the same, or similar path, in the near future.
Are there any other more general cracks you can see, from your professional perspective, in the PE modus op?
Well done in stuffing it to them. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

This should provide all the background and key issues I considered appropriate in my case and of relevance to this particular site. Many of these points are fairly generic and may apply to others. Hopefully that answers your questions but let me know if you need more.
There are plenty of flaws in the PE operation generally  and particularly at this site and you will see from my appeal letter that I have put PE on notice that I intend to challenge further on this. I have additional plans too which I can't go into at this time but will post here if those prove successful.
In brief, I haven't finished "stuffing it to them" quite yet0 -
