Which is crap really because if I recall you dont even need it plugged into the phone, you can quite happily unplug it from the phone after the technician leaves and Sky wont ever bring it up.
thye will if you have multiroom,i was told if i didnt connect my phone line i would have to pay full pricefor multiroom
Live in my shoes for a week, then tell me your lifes hard!
  • I have to say that Sky does call up customers about why their phone line is not plugged in. They will cut you off if you don't plug it back in.
  • Had it unplugged for years they never asked or cut me off?

Well the only time mine has been plugged into the phone is when the engineer set it up and when at the end of the trial of 4 packs Sky figured they'd messed up setting the account up so gave me another 4 months trial so I could cance at the end of it! No problems with not having it plugged in at any time.

Sky terms and conditions are that the box must be connected to a phone line that provides incoming and outgoing calls for a period of at least 12 months, if not then you have to pay a £25 manual enablement charge
  • Do they still do this Sky Pay Once?
