Which is crap really because if I recall you dont even need it plugged into the phone, you can quite happily unplug it from the phone after the technician leaves and Sky wont ever bring it up.Live in my shoes for a week,then tell me your lifes hard!0

I have to say that Sky does call up customers about why their phone line is not plugged in. They will cut you off if you don't plug it back in.0

Well the only time mine has been plugged into the phone is when the engineer set it up and when at the end of the trial of 4 packs Sky figured they'd messed up setting the account up so gave me another 4 months trial so I could cance at the end of it! No problems with not having it plugged in at any time.0

i used to have sky and wasn't connected to a phone line
just looking at the cashback sites for sky quidco are the best for cashback, £100 for sky plus hd nothing for normal sky plus thoughBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Sky terms and conditions are that the box must be connected to a phone line that provides incoming and outgoing calls for a period of at least 12 months, if not then you have to pay a £25 manual enablement charge0
