Had to cancel holiday on docs advice and insurance has paid out minus APD and CC fee.was told to contact airline for the APD but cos flights were booked thru holday company i have to wait for airline to pay them before they refund.regarding the CC fee they told me it was non refundable but m&s tell me different.trying to get back as much as possible cos on top of me losing money on train tickets (advance) i had to pay £20 for a medical certificate and i had a £60 excess to pay.would be grateful for any advice

I'm thinking it would depend on the terms and conditions of the airline. In my experience its fairly common for the fees not to be refunded.0

If say the airline has refunded the agent the total amount paid including card fees then you should get the fees back, otherwise no.
How you/they would prove it is another matter.0
