There's a place called etap http://www.etaphotel.com/ which does cheap rooms at £32 a night which is the usual price of the rooms, they are near the Leeds City Centre bus station. It's newly opened but living in Leeds can't say I've stayed there so don't know about the accomodation. It's close to the student accommodation at Clarence dock and near the city centre, if that's of any benefit. Very occasionally you get dodgey people on the route from there to the city centre due to drug clinic and homeless support places close-by. She shouldn't have any trouble - best to be aware of it though.

If you can book in advance try travelodge's £15 (least chance of getting one) or £26 rooms (some chance but probably not the days you want) https://www.travelodge.co.uk . For travelodges there is the City Centre one (close to the train station), but also look at Colton, which is easy to get to from the city centre on the number 18 bus, and takes approximately 25 minutes journey time. If driving it is close to the A1(M). There is also a sainsbury's, boots, mcdonalds, pizza hut and KFC nearby so everything you need.

    Hope this helps.

I've stayed at the etap before, its, well, what you'd expect for £32 really. You get a bed, a toilet, a shower, a tv (i think the remote is extra though!) and that's about it really. Its fine for somewhere to crash though to be honest. Doubt you'll get anywhere cheaper.

One tip though, don't spend £3 on the breakfast, its only cornflakes (not Kellogs either, as if you needed to ask!) and toast, go to McDonalds in town or somewhere instead.

:j Thank you so much anewman and ciano125. I'll try these sites. Everything else we've tried has been sooo expensive. Thanks again
