Reclaim PPI Company Charges

Hi
I wrote to Lloyds bank asking about PPI I had on a loan with them they sent a letter back saying they had no records. I gave the details to a PPI reclaim company and I they have reclaimed the PPI from Lloyds fro me. I would not have gone to the PPI company if Lloyds had not said they had no details. Can I claim the PPI company fee back from Lloyds?

No. it was your choice to employ a claims company.
You could have asked Lloyds to verify the details or completed a SAR. You didnt and asked a CMC to do that for you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
