Woolwich

I had a mortgage with the Woolwich in 2004, and when I looked at my old bank statements
noticed that a direct debit to a company called Fortis was taken out monthly.
Is this a PPI or something else

    Two issues.

    1 - its not PPI. its life assurance.
    2 - its a pre-regulation sale and Woolwich never sold Fortis plans.

    Fortis didn't sell loans, they sold life insurance.

    Since Fortis only sold Life insurance, clearly you did. :)
  • does anyone know if woolwich / barclays plan to increase their SVR following the recent BoE rate rise? would this impact all tracker mortgages?
