To think that you worked in banking, earning over £100k. Is it safe to assume they didn't let you correspond with any customer's or stakeholders.
BTW annoying Crashy is an absolute pleasure and never a waste of time.
The thing is though, you never really manage to annoy me :rotfl:0 -

Can`t make my mind up if that last one is Chuck coming round to unblock a toilet, or Jack when he finds out his terrace is worth about 60k? Looks like economic has twigged what the little HPI Forever gang are really about at last though?0

Yeah we're all horrible, how dare we buy a house for our family to live in. Unlike you we don't wish that people suffer so that we can gain.
You're a massive hypocrite and you don't have the intellect to realise it. Prime example of the Dunning Kruger effect.0 -

There you go again bringing up HPI, you are really obsessed with it. Probably because you know that you gave up so much of it, when you sold to rent. HPI is just the icing on the cake for us Crashy, we don't care about it as much as you doChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
chucknorris wrote: »I don't unblock toilets Crashy, that eventuality (like many others) is covered by British Gas Homecare, and if needed, a tenant will call them directly, and get someone out to deal with it. That person probably earns much more than you do, and lives in their own nice house. I'm not sure how often that might happen, because I mostly don't get involved in the process, the closest I'll get is when a tenant happens to mention it in passing.

:rotfl: Do you think they really enjoy their job though? Bitterness drips from every word of your post I`m afraid, whatever money you have hasn`t made you happy, and I think that is a real shame.0 -

I don`t know what that is, happy to be enlightened though, but if you can`t see how the bankers lending scam via property has wrecked the UK you must have close to zero intellect IMO. I am not against the fact that you bought a house, just the fact that the price of that house was manipulated by cheap credit for the masses which really only benefited a small band of "elite" money-men.0 -

I don't suppose that they do enjoy every aspect of their job, not many people do, I suppose that I'm lucky, that I really like my job, I don't have to do it, and it is only one day a week anyway, it is almost like a hobby to me. But your question has no relevance, they like many, probably do their job because it facilitates the lifestyle that they want, and that is what they like, otherwise they might have to live an awful life with dubious future prospects living in a cheap place like you do.
There is no bitterness in me Crashy, if you really believe that, it is probably your mental instability that is making you think like that. Just ask yourself, what have I got to be bitter about?Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -

My 3 bed Mainsonette cost just under £130k.
We know you can't afford to buy a reasonably priced property but that doesn't mean people like me shouldn't buy. We could afford the property even if interest rates were above 10%, So stop talking nonsense about manipulated credit pushing up prices. It's not the fault of the posters on this forum that they happen to be living a more comfortable life than you, time to look at reality. :eek:0
