Car lease contract problem

Hi. If I signed a car lease contract back in September but the company has still not provided me with a vehicle or suitable alternative, are they in breach of contract and can I walk away?

They said the make and model of Audi I wanted was not available but I've just rang the Audi dealership and they have a car that I could have.

Any suggestions are gratefully received.

More details please, dates, business/private contract hire etc?

Only if the contract had a delivery date set in stone, that they have not adhered to. They almost always have some sort of 'subject to demand' clause. Feel free to buy from the Audi dealership if you want? Do you have a deposit with the lease company or something? When was delivery 'promised'?

I signed my lease contract in March, took delivery of the vehicle in May - it just took them a while to locate the appropriate car since it was very low in stock, and then the dealer supplying the car messed up which delayed it another couple weeks. Not the end of the world and not much you can do.
