If you are still using 7 and don't want 10 yet (like me) then you can stop 10 dead by downloading GWX Control Panel from here:

I think you're right - Microsoft stopped pushing Windows 10 onto Windows 7/8 machines ages ago. There may still be ways to upgrade to Windows 10 for free but you have to take active steps to do so.Deleted_User wrote: »Don't think you need to download something to do that.0 -
Yes, I thought there was a flurry of activity when the free W10 was coming to "AN END" and then posters saying you could still have it if you were prepared to say you needed accessibility.
