Have I still got PPI?

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a way I can find out if I still have unclaimed PPI.
For quite a few years my wife and I got sucked in to the easy access to loans, credit cards and remortgaging. We were borrowing form one to pay off the other and got further and further in debt. This is all now being repaid using a DMP and I am happy with how that is going.
We did go through all the advice on here and successfully reclaimed a substantial amount back from everyone we could think of.
But, and here is the nubb, I have no idea if we managed to claim back from everyone. I don't even remember who we borrowed from and how much, let alone account numbers.
Would it be worth using one of the reclaim companies to see if there is any policy that i have forgotten about?
Cheers TC

Heavens, no. Any redress will go to your creditors and you will have to pay the claims company out of your own pocket.
If you want to pursue a complaint, send a letter to any lenders you do remember.0 -
Good call on having to pay the claims company, I would have assumed their fees came out of any redress prior to it going to the creditor.
Got no problem with any redress going to clear my creditors, would be nice to get out of this DMP.

No, a claim company is a third party who only you would have the responsibility of paying. They cannot "deduct" their fees, only present you with a bill.I would have assumed their fees came out of any redress prior to it going to the creditor.
I wouldn't get your hopes up too high, it's unlikely there will be any PPI that you missed during your original complaints and it'll be hard to find any evidence left even if there is.Got no problem with any redress going to clear my creditors, would be nice to get out of this DMP.0 -
They hve no idea who you borrowed from anyway, they can only go on what you tell them. If you can't remember, there is no way for them to find out.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
