Hi all,
I know it's a bit of a 'how long is a piece of string', but looking to have a bit of confidence in what to expect to pay for supply and fit of:
Baxi Duo Tech 28kw boiler and flue.
Magnaclean
Nest thermostat
It's a replacing an existing boiler (which has gone kaput). It will feed 6 radiators in a small house (gone for 28kw to fill the bath quicker). No new rads needed. Fitted in existing place, flue going out the wall not up the roof. Installed in an airing cupboard of the bathroom upstairs.
Had a quote where the parts already seem more expensive than a simple google search! £400 labour which seemed reasonable. Done in a day with 2 people (one I suspect is a labourer to the heating engineer).
Any thoughts.

Most installers don’t buy from the internet & also there is their profit margin to add on, £400 labour seems cheap to meI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
£400 for labour does sound cheap, that what i would expect labour to be for a homer. Maybe the quote for the parts has been inflated so that they can quote what looks like a great labour rate.0

I was thinking 1600-1800 for the work.0
