Paid for the wrong car park. Please help, I have received a parking fine from Excel for not displaying ticket. This is paid through Ringo their accepted method of payment. On checking with Ringo it is paid and have got a receipt. What was not known is they have two car parks opposite each other named street 1 and street 2. The tickets has been paid for the wrong one, both private land. Is it worth appealing as I can prove intent to pay or shall I just ignore it. They have got photos of even inside of my car and the car park place number. This is crazy why don't they check their systems for payment.

    they would rather sc@m people

what I can tell you is that IF you appeal this INVOICE (not "fine") they will reject it , they always do

after that you IGNORE it for 6 years

they have 6 years to issue an LBC or an MCOL to the keeper (as long as they dont know who was driving)

if you do appeal, appeal as keeper with the black text appeal template from the NEWBIES sticky thread

there is no easy get out , so you wont find one

if you IGNORE them , they will send debt collector letetrs, then solicitor letters, and finally they may issue an MCOL from Northampton ccbc

Did you miss the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST thread at the top of this forum? Appeal using the template, then ignore letters EXCEPT for a Letter before Claim and/or a Court claim form.

We help people win at defence stage, and 99% of people who stick around and report about their hearing, do win or get a discontinuance - scam over (in the end!).

Come back if you need to defend it later, and keep all letters for 6 years, and tell them if you move house, to cover your credit record to avoid an unknown claim going to an old address in a few years' time.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
