Anyone tried Readly or Magzter digital magazine delivery?

just discovered the wonderful world of digital magazine reading on a tablet for a fixed sum each month, £7 £10 a month.

Tried Readly for a few days, and just downloaded Magzter app on nexus 7.

Magzter gold sub seems to have the most uk computer mags.

Has anyone tried any of the above subs for a few months and what do you think of them?

Thanks

I'd like to answer your query as an avid magazine reader and a tech junkie. I've tried both Readly and Magzter and found Magzter to be far superior with respect to their diverse collection of magazines and their excellent apps. I've been a subscriber of their GOLD plan for 2 years now and thoroughly enjoy reading 4,000+ magazines and premium curated articles, which are mobile-friendly. The variety of magazines they offer from around the world is unmatched and I strongly recommend you to go with Magzter. They also offer a 1-month free trial on their iOS/Android app to get you started. Hope you really enjoy reading on Magzter as much as I do!
  • Well done Micjohn doesn't seem like self-advertising at all, a very meaty post.

My public library has masses of monthly mags you can download for free. You get a notification when the next month's one comes out, it's an excellent service. Might be worth looking there for the ones you like before paying out (in best MSE tradition )

Now that was a great suggestion, all signed up and reading away for Free here, even computer shopper and computer active is on the list.

The RBdigital app isn't 100% optimised for the nexus 7 but still readable.

I take it you can't be fined for not returning mags or books as with the hard copies.

    Thanks again.

Libraries continue to provide a most amazing service as they have done ever since they became free in 1850. Please keep using them!
