advise on EHCP Mediation

Hello everyone,

I have a mediation appointment with the county council about my son educational and health care plan. My reason was more on educational side. A new SEN case officer was assigned to my son while on transition. And this new SEn officer issued a revised EHCP and changed my son's preferred school to a mainstream one when my son was in a special needs school his entire life and a mainstream school won't meet his needs.

Is there any advise you can give me to ask and to point to out to the county council representative. I am really dreading the meeting although I am reassured by the mediation officer. I still want to attend with all information that I can present and query.

This happens after every annual review of an EHCP, your SENDCO and SENDIASS should be guiding you through this.
