A really geeky observation, sorry.
When we get home we always text 'three rings' (A picture of an old fashioned telephone, three times) to our family WhatsApp group
These phones always used to be red but now on android phones, they are green whereas on everyone's iPhone they are still red.
Rather bizarre

On my phone it is blue in the Emoji gallery but goes green when inserted into a message.
(Basically, a lot of the inserted images look very different to the gallery view).0
