Left wrong stars for a seller.

I've just left 1 stars for a seller when I meant to leave 5. At least I think I did.

I was a bit sniffy when others were moaning about the new page for feedback, but it's now caught me out.

Is there anyway to check what I left and if it was wrong, can I get it changed? Hate to see a good seller not get the credit they deserve.

Message the seller and explain and ask them to send you a feedback revision request (unless Soolin, fount of all things ebay, has a better idea!).

I left feedback for 2 items. One with 5 stars and I think I left 1 star for the other, so obviously an error.

I wasn't paying proper attention because I received another order today with 5 items instead of the 6 that should have been there. Ahhhh!

Apparently the feedback can only be revised if the feedback is negative, so not much I can do.

Correct, the feedback cannot be revised if it is positive, but you can remove the complete feedback rating which will also remove the low stars. You can request this on the live chat.

I do put some of the blame on Ebay.

I'm a very frequent buyer of stuff on the internet and an experienced user of Ebay and have never done this before.

I suppose someone in the back room has to justify their existence by changing things, but this tinkering is totally unnecessary.

I posted a picture of the new page the other day and mentioned no info on the stars.

More changes coming.... my ebay page has changed, sort order.. no price inc P&P option anymore.

LOTS of hidden listings also. My search showed 800 listings intially, click the show all box and there are over 3000, the first 20 were VERY relevant to my search.

The whole thing changes daily and seems to be different for different people. Currently no two of my accounts show the same style of displaying information.

As for searches- don't get me started- I know people think that my conspiracy theories are daft, but on other forums people are being told by ebay (mainly ebay US to be fair) that there is a function that hides some people and displays other searches based on what it thinks you want from your previous purchases. I have said it before, and I am sure to keep saying it, but the search function only shows certain things. My example is always a navy wedding hat that I wanted- I saw it and didn't save it and when I tried to get back in to buy it I couldn't find it. Depending on time of day or even whether I used my or my husband's IPad or my PC I got different results- I could go from 1000 + navy wedding hats down to 50 using the exact same search.

Even now when researching items to sell the search function is daft. I was at an auction using my phone to research 'solds' and saw a fairly unusual widget that sells maybe 7 or 8 a month at a very good price, so I bought item. Came home and searching again ready to list I couldn't find more than 2 solds, 2! no matter what I tried no others would come up at all nor did any show as currently listed. However, now (and I've just gone to search) there are 2 others currently listed as well as mine, and both were listed before mine and not since so should have shown up when I searched.

Add the fact that for 1 1/2 days last week my listings were only visible on ebay France and I think ebay have problems.
