Purchased kitchen dilemma

Hi all,
First time posting on here so hope I get everything right!
My partner and myself have been very naive and bought a new kitchen with money borrowed from a good friend, on the premise that we would be approved for a loan to pay him back.
Needless to say, we weren't approved...
Are we within our rights to 'return the kitchen and get a full refund?
It's all still in original packaging and unfitted in storage.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

It depends how you bought it, although unlikely.
If bought in store its unlikely you will have any rights to return, if bought online you might have a right to return if you recieved the goods in the last 14 days.
Probably best just checking the company returns policy and asking the question.
Strange way of doing things.0 -
Each store will have its own policy, you have no legal right to take it back. Maybe you have rights if you bought it online?0

There's no information on their website regarding returns, only refunds if products are defective.
However, we've just spoken to a member of staff on the phone who said that we are perfectly fine to return it within any time frame as long as it's still in its packaging

That's very nice of them. What's the name of the company? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
