Is the housing market in N Ireland cooling?

in House buying, renting & selling
Im in a position now where I could potentially buy a house. The only prob is that I live in N Ireland and prices are through the roof. Does anybody think I should hold off for a few years in hope of a decline in prices or will they continue to up at a slower rate? What way do you see the market going?

    from what i have heard the prices are mental and wages are low, not exactly a great idea to invest when there isnt an economic base but then there could be other factors in play like big wedges of taxpayers cash for a peace dividend etc .
