Bank of Scotland Supreme Court

Following the Supreme Court case re commissions BOS have written inviting me to re-open my earlier claim as I certainly don't recall commissions ever being mentioned. The trouble is I cannot remember when I claimed earlier or when I took the credit cards out so trying to complete their form is a nightmare. It makes me wonder, although they have invited my new claim they want to make it difficult. I don't even remember the years I had the cards etc.

They invited you to complain. Why would they make it difficult?

In all likeliness they will still defend misselling the PPI like last time. However they are inviting you to complain about the excess amount of profit (commission) they made on the policy. Once you complain they will simply look to see if your account was open during the applicable dates and whether commission was over 50%, therefore it is mostly irrelevant what you put on the form as long as you ask them to investigate.
