Yes it is frustrating when you can't get 0% deals, but just keep chipping away.:)

I need to make sure I pay as much as possible before they all end. I'm quite worried about the December one but can't do anything with it until I get rid of the smaller ones. I find it quite motivating to have deadlines to meet (so to speak).

Yes so far I'm doing quite well in determining what I need and what I want, however its becoming increasingly difficult. I've lost 2 stone over the past year , which doesn't sound like much but has put me right back to where I wanted to be. But literally all my clothes are so baggy now and I'm refusing to buy new ones, because I want to use that money to pay off my debts :rotfl:

Clothing is my big issue as well, I like to look good. Mens sneakers are expensive, often £150+
I also love watches, glasses, new jeans. Plus I just love to spoil myself.
& if I post to instagram I don't like to be wearing the same stuff. I've found it tough but I've reduced my wardrobe to only things I love, and seeing how that pans out. I might do a project 333, check it out :)

Ooh I love the Project 333 idea. Thanks for that. :) I’m definitely going to start that this weekend when I’m off work. I have so many clothes and don’t wear half of them but can’t seem to part with them, just incase I need them or because they were expensive. Boxing them up is a good idea and will help organise my wardrobe abit more. I’ve probably got about 33 scarves so it will be good to box up the ones that I don’t wear, every winter I buy about 6 :rotfl: (But not this year) :j

Yeah I have like so much, I'm like a girl in some respects, love to buy lots of things for myself, have lots of shoes (nikes, adidas etc), have way too much clothing and cologne... I have like 5 different tweezers even!!

I have planned on donating a bunch of things to a cerebral palsy charity as I once made a disabled girl cry being my old horrible natured self, so project 333 will help me with this. There's a documentary on netflix Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things it talks a lot about project 333, along with people who have done it, if you get an hour watch it - it'll really inspire you. :D

    Good luck!!

  • 5 Tweezers :rotfl: I only have one pair although they were expensive, and I paid extra for flowery ones. Silly me.

It’s good that you still think about it and want to donate.

I think I’m going to put together a box of clothes that I never wear and then at the end of the 3 months, leave it sealed and give the box to charity. Otherwise I’ll open it I’ll be like I want to keep that and that and that...

Oh I’ll see if I can catch up on that at the weekend, it might motivate me to sort out my wardrobe. Haha.

Well no idea how I've managed to do it, but it appears I've gotten my totals and dates mixed up

    I've just checked my statement for Virgin and the actual totals are;

    Breakdown
    Lloyds[STRIKE] £3080.00 [/STRIKE]£3049.00 0% until May 2019
    Virgin[STRIKE] £5119.31 [/STRIKE]£4824.82
    [STRIKE]£416.49 £122.00 [/STRIKE] £937.00 0% until April 2018
    [STRIKE]£1557.00[/STRIKE] £742.00 0% until Oct 2018

On a positive note, I have logged in to OnePoll which I haven't been on for ages and completed a few surveys. £6.05 in my account now :j:

Just check your statements, do you ever see the old numbers, that’s quite a bit extra.

Can you setup an excel tracker of some sorts, I can share you mine if you want, every month on the 1st I track all of my debt numbers into the sheet. This means I login to every bank account and I see the current balance on that account, I then log this down. I don’t use a statement as statements are historic, I use the value on the date in the accounts. It helps to see the debt repayments overtime and also paints a good picture of how much interest I am paying.

  • I think it may be something to do with a balance transfer I did before I started my diary but I have no idea.

    My statement for October is
    £6097.31
    £100 Payments
    £5997.31

    £1254.49 28/02/18
    £1557.00 30/09/18
    £857.82 16/10/18
    2288.00 30/11/18

    Statement for November

    £5997.31
    2069.48 Payments
    1100.00 Spent
    22.00 Interest/Charges
    £5049.82

    £1122.00 30/04/2018
    £742.00 30/09/2018
    £857.82 16/10/2018
    £2288.00 30/11/2018

But I’m not sure why the dates changed from Feb to April.

  • I wish I had the motivation to keep up with something like that. I should have though as I spend what feels like every second of the day thinking about money and working out what to pay off and when. Haha.
