I have been asked to go with someone to look at an Iveco van (transit type) today and my knowledge of vans is VERY limited. I know what i think of Iveco vans but just wondered what the collective opinion was of them.

I'm being collected at noon(ish)

Walk away. Don't even entertain Iveco or Ford vans as they are pretty much the worst on the market for the body rusting.

Also be aware that your car insurance will not cover you to drive a van if you were thinking of test driving it under any other vehicle option on your insurance.

If it says "any other vehicle" on the certificate it will, but they usually say "any other car", which means it won't cover a van.

So I can drive my friend's supercharged Range Rover on my van insurance, but he can't drive my diesel van on his car insurance. :rotfl:
