Afternoon all. A day out for Mr TA's birthday wasn't a good idea as it's been mizzly and drizzly and cold. So I booked the nice Italian restaurant for this evening instead. I don't suppose it will be very busy being a Tuesday but wanted to book just in case. It's a lovely old building (it used to be a bank) and has been done up very sympathetically. It recently changed hands and has had some brilliant reviews so we are looking forward to a nice meal with, of course, a nice bottle of wine.
Mr TA's DB and SIL have just left after dropping off a card and an M & S gift card. As always it was nice to see them.
DUMPLING so pleased Becky seems settled but can imagine how you must be feeling. Hopefully it won't be long before you can visit her. JACKIE glad Frank is now pain free. Surely there can't be any more bad news in store for you NANNYWINDOW.
Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
Evening chums just about to go off to quiz night at my local, it will make a nice change to see some of my friends and give me a break from all the dashing around I seem to be doing
I had DGS Danny on f/time this afternoon from NYC and he was quite upset about his Grandpa, bless him I said there is nothing he can do but remember the happy times he had with him
I think its because he is so far away that he is getting stressed.
DD and my son-in-law are at the hospice tonight and they will go every night whilst they can.Its about a 60 mile round trip every night ,but they don't mind as its his Dad. Every time my phone pings I dread looking at it I know I can't change the outcome though and he is pain free and at peace at the moment. Life is a pain at times, and other times its so good.
Right I'm off for a nights R&R chums ,weather is very nippy and damp at the moment very misty as well.
Take care
JackieO xx0
