First Choice - reconfirming flights

Is this really necessary - my ticket says I have to call the resort office to reconfirm the flight?! does this mean i cant fly home if i dont or is it to check the plane is still running?

its to check time and details- schedules can change with very little notice so always worth ringing the day before to check0

Standard stuff if you've booked flights and accomodation separately. If you're staying in a package hotel, you'll probably see the flight info anyway.0
