If I end a housing benefit claim, how long is it before I can't restart that claim and have to make a new one?

Maybe it would be an idea to call your HB issuing office?
With ours, if the claim is fully closed, a new claim needs to be made. We can reuse any old documents we have with regards to ID etc, but we'd ask for new evidence of income and capital.0
