Can I get compensation for severe remedial work delays?

Hi, I had an extremely bad with Everest Home Improvements in April in which they sent two very inexperienced installers to fit 5 new windows in my flat who caused a lot of damage in the process of the installation. Over 6 months later the damage has only just been sorted after a horrendous amount of chasing. Everest have admitted that my case “fall through the bet” but have only offered £150 as a gesture of good will which seemly whole insufficient. Everest do not belong to the DGCOS so I’m not sure what my options are now??

How much do you Want?0

What losses have you incurred that you need to be compensated for? Or do you mean how much cash can I milk out of this?0
-
The losses incurred are mainly based on the amount on time from both myself and my property manager that has been spent chasing them for over 6 months to fix damage that they caused. This is by no means about “milking” anything but I do believe that bad appalling customer service deserves to be appropriately compensated!!0

£150 gesture of goodwill seems about right assuming they have put right what was wrong.0

what "damage did you sustain and how much time/letters have you made over this matter
my experience is that never except the first offer that has been made0 -
The damage included deep gouges in the upvc units sides, lots of damage to the window reveals, there one window with no handle fitted, damage to the outside tiles and a very messy silicone on both interior and exterior.
The £150 was their 3rd offer from £50.
They have fixed the damage but I had to make over 30 calls and send over 15 emails to get this resolved over a 6 month period.0 -
So you do not require any compensation to compensate you for your losses since by your own admission they have fixed the damage.
So you feel that you require a bung of cash for your time (yours and the property managers time; out of interest will you be going 50/50 on any payment?) So how much do you feel would be a suitable bung to keep you and the property manager happy?0 -
How much are you ACTUALLY out of pocket by?0

You've lost me!!!
Is it me???my experience is that never except the first offer that has been made
Sounds like you are a business/Buy-to-Let/Landlord as you reference your property manager. In which case you have no consumer rights and would have to rely on the contract between yourselves and Everest.0 -
I think it's a typo for "fall through the NET"You've lost me!!!
Regardless, there has already been work done to fix what was wrong and quoting 30 'phone calls (while excessive) would not seem to me to be worthy of any more "compensation" than has already been offered.Sounds like you are a business/Buy-to-Let/Landlord as you reference your property manager.
