    afternoon all

We went to Waitrose this morning - got our free cofffees and went to drink them in the car. I took the trolley back and liberated a half price Orr coffee till spit so I went back instore and wedged it next the coffees - hopefully someone would find it as it was a bottom shelf coffee. Then as payment for my good deed on the way out I found a sampling lady with a tray of salted caramel cake samples, good big dollops so I took 2 back to Oh - coffee and cake in the car :D

We had been to get the free drink from COS - when I looked first thing it wasnt showing. I was hoping something would show up on the list othetwise I had no idea what I was going to get from Waitrose and fortunatly it was a Waitrose item :T
Also when I looked at the last mailing I found they had sent me a £1 MOC for the drinks :T - even better.

NOt sure how you drink these drinks???.

OH is on call again, it seems almost a permenat thing now so I have plenty of interesting soft drinks for him and the Christmas guests who might also not be drinking :)

Also got BottleGreen for Greenjinn as it was on offer for £1.50. Garnier wipes were on my GJ with 50p cashback, on offer for £1.66. I also got the little pannnetone cakes in a cute box - 50p from GJ and 50p mailing MOC

Cant belive how quiet all of the shops are, no problem getting onto any of the car parks or going through tills.
We went into our little market town on the way home thinking that the shops would all be open but it was a ghost town, only charity shops open :( I was hoping that the deli and the butchers would be open but no so we ended up in Marks again - collected an order and got a couple of the free androud cokes.

On the plus side we nipped to Morrisons on the way back, not for anything in particular - OK, I gave into the temptations of Pringles :(

But going through the self scan tills I spotted a voucher hanging from the machine - a Morrisons fiver :T - I have also got a till spit which says spend £25 get 2700 Morrisons points does anyone know if I can use both of these together? Possibly gin unless something free comes up on cashback.

(before anyone comments about the morals of it I have 2 massive bags to go into the food bank collection tommorow and another box of bric a brac for the charity shop which will go in on whatever day my new specs are ready plus a bag of old glasses for donation at the options so my consience is clear)

    Hi Pacifica.

How was your stuff received at your fayre Hope you made a tidy sum.

I am off to make up a mini box of stuff for the GP’s surgery. Friend thought I was going give them all individual presssies No just bits to share. I think the hand cream will be well received

Then as someone on here suggested a number of small gifts for old people or patients that they know won’t get anything. Not to much in each bag some toiletries, thanks to asda and some home made selection of sweets, thanks to Amex. And of course some almost free biscuits.

Its finding suitable sized gift bags or similar to put things in. Pounland had some very nice Christmas hessian bags for life last year but I've not seen them this year yet

    Good evening Elite.
Hoping everyone is warm, happy and well. Hugs to those not so.
Drank far too much at work party last night but we had a great night. Good job it's only once a year! Still no Christmas tree up yet though.
Hope you've all had a good weekend.

How lovely Mrs M. Yes, everything went well and, for a very small school, we were really pleased with what we raised.

Its theft by finding. A criminal offence, nothing about morality.

Lets hope Morries dont review the CCTV.
