There were lovely pork and gammon joints on the end display as well. The pork joints looked especially nice.0 -

I got four pork loin joints the other day TM would have been proud of me they were on offer at £3.50 per kilo then yellow labelled so cost £5 ish each. They are now sat chilling in my freezer.
JTS good to see you posting.0 -

am i missing something, as at this moment hukd thinks the 1/2 beef later in waitrose is a good deal.
the offer is on angus sirloin and rump joints.
now at half price it looks to me that the rump is still double the price of a british beef joint in morrisons. https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Morrisons-Market-St-British-Beef-Joint/370545011?utm_source=tradedoubler_digidip+UK&utm_medium=affiliate&dclid=CMfwreKd9NcCFRiuUQodiwcJ5Q&sku=370545011&parentContainer=&voucherCode=&dnr=y&sku=370545011&parentContainer=&voucherCode=
or is the waitrose meet worth the extra.
i need to know be mid-day please
Morning all!
No codes from me today
Zippy, they probably just think Waitrose is posh so half price meat is good! But also, that is Aberdeen Angus (which sounds fancy) and sirloin or rump (also sounds fancy) Morrisons one is just 'British beef joint'. Up to you whether you think it's just a marketing ploy or worth the extra!0 -

you are going wrong on "the straight comparison" it is not.
as you get the extra comparison of the free one, so the bigger the difference the better.
That is because I thought we we WERE talking about a straight comparison ie not 342 when the true cost can never anything other than. T’s price less 10%.
Just gone back and read Fernies post which started this discussion....for me anyway and think I was thrown by the mentioning of candles and me being out of touch with them glitching on the 342.
