Am3x SS Update
If you are London based and playing Am3x SS there is a site of interest https://shopsmallcrawl.com
Someone on the HUKD thread has developed it to highlight stores offering Oyster top ups. Apparently you can withdraw the Oyster balance to your bank.
Caution is required as some stores are charging for using Am3x.
I am not London based do canmot play - there has been no sign or reports of 1stop credits yet ....
Email notifications of successful shops have started working according to discussions elsewhere.

Good morning everyone. Anon, thank you so much for this. I have a trip to London coming up! And round me the small shops are not very good apart from my hairdresser.
Update: nothing very near Euston, though it will prompt me to go for a short walk to the two nearest shops. Thanks anyway.0 -
I've just bought myself one of these for my daily walks. This colour is only £1.32 inc P&P. Not sure I'll have the nerve to wear it, but would be great for keeping warm whilst wombling too.

That is clearly an error. Decided to buy some for our homeless shelter but as soon as you add more than one, it charges quite a lot for postage. So I bought some individually. Thank you, simone.0 -

Oh no:( cut carbs down
Vut D deficiency must come with diabetes then:cool: i was given mine on prescription along with folic acid
Don't know if you know i had really good results 2 weeks ago:j:j:j
Thanks Bubbs. I am and I have been doing. I think it went up again (though not as bad as last year) because RL has been crazily stressful and I have been sleeping badly. There is a lot of stuff online about how short nights increases the chance of diabetes. Do you remember the kitchenware glitch some time ago? I bought a spiralizer for 99p (plus oven gloves I think) and have been using it for courgettes instead of normal spaghetti and I really like it. Much better than the pre-spiralized veg which I get when it is whoopsied to 10p.
Delighted you had good results a fortnight ago. I've not been keeping up well with this thread recently.0 -

Well the Trafford Centre A was rubbish last night. Fewer gift sets than I had expected and no magic Mullers. I was even too demoralised to do soup after all that. (I'd managed to forget my list, which didn't help...)
B&H worked and I did get some of the luscious lips tins which my local doesn't stock, so all was not lost:
11 items (6 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda Tesco
1x ASDA Smart Price Baked Beans in Tomato Sauce (410g) £0.23 £0.24
1x Doritos Tangy Cheese Tortilla Chips (180g) £1.00 £0.99
0.2x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Gala Apple (Typically 160g) (per kg) £0.39 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Garden Peas in Water (300g) £0.21 £0.21
0.07x ASDA Grower's Selection Loose Carrot (order by number of carrots or select kg) (per kg) £0.04 £0.04
1x ASDA Chosen By You Cream Crackers (300g) £0.40 N/A
1x ASDA Vinegar (568ml) £0.24 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Spaghetti (500g) £0.23 N/A
1x ASDA Smart Price Longlife Skimmed Milk (1l) £0.57 £0.49
6x Nivea Luscious Lips (each) £30.00 £15.72
Comparison total (compared products only) £32.05 £17.69
+£14.36 cheaper
APG was £16.13 so tins were 64p each. I worked that out by deducting the cost of everything else on the receipts. My Excel sheet says it should be 60p. I can't be bothered to check my sums!!
Thank you, again, 3Dogs, for your wonderful list. I think some of the contents of these will end up in shoeboxes next year.0 -
I never wear anything on my head (except earmuffs) when I'm in a shop. I always pull my hood off as soon as I know I'll be on CCTV view as I know its frowned upon not to be able to see facial features. Having worked in retail myself for many years it does feel more threatening when people have head coverings on (helmets included even though they don't hide your face completely)
What is the world coming to when people find a cycle helmet threatening:(:wall:

Is it still ill advised to get a APG more than £10?
I note some of the best deals generate one higher and not sure that I dare0
