Mine was £13 odd and it did get queried. The cashier said there was something wrong with it and asked her supervisor. Supervisor said to put it through as they knew it was the gift sets because they are much cheaper in T, but praised the (very young) cashier for checking as they’ve had “a few funny ones” lately.

    Morning all :)

I did two shops yesterday and kept my £20+ voucher for the second one. However, the young girl on the till was totally disconcerted with the first high APG and called the supervisor who checked etc. I muttered something about how much cheaper they are in T. (I think it helps that I am buying two bottles of wine each time so the total cost of my shop is higher than if I had bought 10p sweets.) The supervisor scratched her head and approved it. I warned the cashier that the next one was high too but the supervisor went away. Then for the next shop the till required a supervisor. The cashier assured the supervisor that she had checked dates etc and the supervisor over-rode the till. But I shall be careful when buying those pesky B&H sets in future and will not add uht skimmed milk!

Do you have a link for this one as never sure which one it is in asda

    Here you go:

    https://groceries.asda.com/product/gifts-for-him/dove-mencare-ultimate-care-gift-set-with-shower-tool/910003257563

in the packaging it looks like a normal grey scrunchie thing in the middle of the two bottles.

If you are trying to get your fillers, remember you can mix this with other £8 gifts. I did that yesterday with the £8 Dove beauty bag sets as I wanted some of those too.

Just remembered what I came on here to say. I won magnets in the night garden advent calendar today. Thanks to the OP who pointed this one out. I am trying to do this and the Nectar one each day.

I have also been meaning to say that those of us with a lot of Nectar points can use them up in our Mail accounts as we can get £5 vouchers for some shops (M&S and John Lewis?) for 800 points. Not as good as double up but still a bit better than just spending them on fuel.
