Evening all...
RL hectic with the babysitting in London 3 days a week, I managed to get 2 orders for gap for pence last week with stacking codes..but went to canary wharf on the tube with 2 kiddies picked up the order 2 separate bags so I assumed they were 2 orders...
but I was wrong:(
1 bag contained 1 pair of socks, the other was a t shirt both for the same order.
so back I trudge again the following day to pick up the other order:mad:
just as well I only paid pennies as I spent 2 return journeys on the tube to then pay for0 -
Arggghhh i wish i'd checked here before i went shopping this avo, 2 shops have come back with no enough items because of the buttons and chomp not showing
Do i risk taking them back?0 -

Sorry guys can you explain how a trigger works tia x
A trigger is an item that although will show on your till receipt does not show on the APG system...Therefore, In this instance with the sweeties...If you bought the Chomp bar and 4 curly wurly's or any other combination in the 5 4 1....The chomp bar is the invisible trigger as it will not show on the APG system when you check your receipt....This then, will allow the other four items which would be 20p if it had picked the trigger up...to remain at their full price and then compare to a lower price if offered in the other stores....
I hope I have explained myself....I know what I mean....:rotfl:
This is my understanding of it ...[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]
OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Womble A vs T Milk seems to be going up and up
1x ASDA Whole Milk (4 pint) £1.09 £1.09
It does - we were told about this several weeks ago:
https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/price-of-milk-to-go-up-after-dairy-closures-tr220h3sr
That comparison gets you back to straight 99p A but no 10% off £1 anymore. (I would frown, but, in a sense, it's our fault for getting cheap milk before and sending many diaries to the wall.) Better now is 6 pint milk £1.48 vs £1.50 T/S/W. Of course, the comparisons still get you paying A's full prices if you put bad items versus the competitors on the same shops:(.
They obviously think about expensive bottled water:rotfl:. My bottled water is 17p for 2 litres, which is about three and a half pints, which works out at less than 5p per pint. With milk even at 99p before, it was nearly five times that cost! And it is now (if you don't get APG 'refund') more than five times the straight cost of bottled water so, for me, milk costs way more. So, it's not "still cheaper" than bottled water - and it never was in the first place. The answer is it depends which bottled water you are looking at and also which milk you are talking about.0 -
Evening elite:). For those making hampers for babies, Home Bargains have Highgrove baby oil, lotion, wash & balm all at 99p. rrp £20:eek: Never heard of it but it comes in posh looking boxes.0

Evening peeps.
After moaning about sweet mandarin I have purchased 3 today, couldn't resist!
£21 voucher though....
SA scanned my fillers and commented that she had purchased the same set in T yesterday for only £3.75 !
She asked if I still wanted them or should she put them back!
I said thanks for mentioning I'll put my receipt through the price checker.
Her reply was that instore purchases don't count you can only do apg on online shops.

Are the Aussies on individual A price £4.50 not on the 3 for 2?
EDIT: (I think they probably are, as I seem to think someone has mentioned that some 3 Minute Miracles are in the 3 for 2, but you probably just wanted other ones:cool:. EDIT 2: Also you couldn't mix £4 ones with £4.50, without losing out to the 'cheapest free'. Ignore me - I see why you stuck to £4 ones now:rotfl:!)0
