Oh Sarah, so young!!
I lost my dad when he was 52 and I was 17, he had MS.
That is now over 48 years ago and whilst it doesn't hurt now I still miss him.
Be strong tomorrow and celebrate his life, remembering the good times.

May I also mention the long wait for the funeral to take place. I know it's often circumstances and/ or choice but what an awful pressure it puts on the family just "waiting". Funerals used to happen within a few days after death but it seems to take weeks now:o It can be unbearably stressful especially for those on their own.
I hope it goes as well as expected tomorrow Sarah. I will be thinking of you:A
It is strange isn't it, how long poor souls have to wait.
My Sil used to play the organ at Durham Crem and said the busiest time was always after Christmas ... bank holidays and cold weather not helping I guess.
Whatever, everyone reacts to loss differently, I've had staff take 9 months off (usually back after 6 when salary was cut by half)others back to work within a week. There is no right or wrong to it, but this long wait doesn't help anyone.0 -

Just wanted to say big thankyou to whoever brought SFF to the thread back a year or so.
Sat at the BIC waiting for the four tops and the temptations. Just watched Trevares. :T
I would never have bought tickets for myself at £44 + for the cheapest
