Cunard always do one to Hamburg about then, not warm, but a lovely cruise, I enjoyed it last year, and if I could have got the pets looked after, would have done it this year too.

So can you log into the child slaves account, as surely the points should be in there?

Just tried that, no transactions showing there either :(.

  • Thank you kindly

Just had a bit of a calamity - the wind had blown the large patio table and chairs over - how the glass top ( which is loose) didn't Crack is beyond me. Unfortunately it has scratched some of the dark coating off :(

Also the keter storage that we keep the recycling crates in, has been blown across the patio into the wall and smashed one side to bits :o

    Be careful out there :o

Oh dear! At least the glass hasn't broken. I'm about to cycle home now...I think it'll be a little breezy.

Our Evans moved into the Dorothy Perkins store, is it possible that this happened in your town and you didn't notice? :o

Now you have said that I don't think we have a Dorothy Perkins either - it used to be in with Burtons.
But Google says its still in the same place .... I need to check next time I am in town.
The same happened to Evans in another town I visit, it vanished but it still does have its Dorothy perkins store - it will be very useful if either of them do have Evans - I used to check it regularly around sale time for boots and just by chance I've found some good reductions - proper leather as well.
Boots though are best tried on instore

Well I was expecting an Amazon pantry cat food order today which apparently was loaded onto the van in Leicester at 2.30 this afternoon, in theory only 90 minutes away - even so at that point I had a sinking feeling.

It was supposed to arrive by 9 tonight - not really convenient now its dark at 4 but it cant be helped.

Then I got a message just to say its been delayed and it could now be anytime up to December 3rd
Although it might still arrive tonight - probably while we are cooking or eating dinner.

So I went to Amazon customer services chat and I explained the situation and the nice chap has extended my Amazon prime subscription by a month (so that's another problem solved) given me a £2.99 refund for postage and also given my a £5 credit to be used against my next Fulfilled by amazon order :T

(This is the order I did using my Amex for the spend £20 get £5 back offer and I got the email this morning when the money went out of the account - it was well over £20 so the £2.99 refund wont affect this)

I am starting to build a small cat food stockpile incase we get bad weather - as long as we have cat food, wine, gin and cheese we wont need to leave the house :)

Your SD is so much better at RTC than ours - I checked our store yesterday and it had a few of the yellow SELS but the reductions were piffling.
It even had the hair bands I bought in mid October - marked at 65p but they went through at 26p so I've been checking to see if they ever got any more in stock - there were back in stock at £1.60
