Yes, when this data protection thingie was coming in and we all had to re sign up to every email newsletter we subscribed to or be left off the list for ever - about 90% I never resigned up to so in theory the number of emails coming in must plummet.
And still if you are way for more than a few days the numbers seem no different.
Also not helped by outlook downloading the headers before the email bodies. OH adjusted the time it takes for the computer to go to sleep otherwise it just stopped and went back to the start all over again!

Rainy day needed now to do a mass delete!

    Good afternoon

Can I ask for a bit of techie help ? Please and thanks

My mobile account is with virgin and I have just noticed a charge for uploading a receipt to COS or CS

Virgin say that there is no package that allows pictures to be sent but there is not much point in paying 50p to upload each receipt Obviously it works FOC on Ipad but they are in use

    Cheers

Connect to wifi to send it? Most shops have wifi these days, even our local Aldi and Laithwaites.

It shouldn't be using MMS to send the photos? It should be using data? I am sure most mobile packages exclude mms so would think we would have seen comment about this before given how many receipts we have been collectively uploading?

    Thanks Karlie!

The second day wasn't actually too bad. My legs felt a bit stiff to start with and it wasn't helped that there was a big hill to climb right at the start. However they soon loosened up and by the end of the second day my legs weren't feeling any more tired than they were at the end of the first day. Due to sampling a couple of the ales at the ale festival on Saturday night we didn't stop at the first checkpoint on Sunday for the beer, so we only had 2 stops instead of the 3 that we had on Saturday. So in the end we finished 10 minutes quicker than we did on Saturday. 40 miles walked successfully over 2 days :D. Well, actually more like 46 because our B&B was 3/4 of a mile away from the start/finish, and we walked back each night for dinner! Yesterday we went to the Royal Welsh Winter Fair as we were in the area. It was a lot of fun with loads of food and craft stalls. I ate so many 'samples' that I didn't have any space for lunch:rotfl:. I did get a few Christmas presents there and it was fun to watch the livestock competitions. I had no idea before that people vacuumed their cattle before showing!

We didn't get home until 11.30pm and then back up at 6am for work today so I'm feeling a bit dozy.
