Well i said i wanted to cash out all my points....I came darn close :rotfl:

Now let's see what i can build up for next year....

That's absolutely hopeless as that single point can't be spent without amounting to a round £2.50 amount. And to get that requires the collection of 499 points without going over as it will still remain unspent.

1 point is the furthest you can get from being able to spend it, although it's also the lowest amount to lose if you want to write it off and quit them altogether (as I have vowed to do on several times but never been able to do so).

This 6 times, or whatever times it is - it never works out very good no matter how much it is multiplied by - is also nearly worthless. Six points instead of one - like, what, 3p? As you'd have to spend more than 3p to get 3p it seems to me of no use unless you were already buying something via Ebay. For those who were not, it is simply a method to getting people to spend more money, buying things they would not buy and spending hopelessly more than the points they get back. It's a 'nice' extra, if you are already spending, rather than saving, money - otherwise ignore it. I do not like this 'paying for points' idea. If I must, I will only go for paying something less than the value of the points given back but, even then of course, would preferably want points for spending absolutely nothing. Remember that with Nectar, the points value also needs to be taken to be substantially lower than what offers due to Sains. generally higher prices in my view.
  • Candy crush on my tab is being a PITA, currently level 3925 is saying not enough orders left before I even start playing

  • Swimming might have been good for the legs :) I know cycling is so you did good this morning :T:T

It probably would have been....I think I'm just being lazy :o. I cycled to Morries for the Yazzoo instead, my legs did feel a little bit less sore than they did first thing this morning. But then it's only a 4 mile round trip as opposed to 12 miles into work ;).
  • I really should pull my finger out, I think I'm the only person not booked onto a train trip between Oxford and Reading!

Also anyone with the free magnum voucher, they are on offer in Tosco 2 for £5, I managed to print off 2 so £2.70 profit. Also used an £8 off £40 voucher, but unfortunately the cashmere jumper I bought will be going back as it looks awful ;)

Hang on....free Magnums? Is this the voucher that was in last month's T mag? Is it still valid? Although I think I binned all of mine :o.

Does anyone here know about Freeview? TV or watching in multiple rooms?
We are with VM, have v6 downstairs and tivo in one bedroom, but I want to watch and record in another bedroom that has no cable or satellite dish running to it.
    I'm looking to watch/record Comedy central/E4.
I thought of a Freeview type box that you can record but don't know if that's possible plus we don't have an ariel.
We're not very techy and can't install things ourselves.
Thoe stick thingys don't record do they?

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

You can set a virgin V6 or Tivo box to record remotely using one of the virgin apps.

I think you can watch a recorded item on your iPad or iPhone and then if your TV is a smart TV you should be able to mirror to it from your iPad/ iPhone.
