No sign of any loo rolls.

I used the self scan gun, paid for my shopping then noticed that a 50p bag of Yorkshires had scanned as a £4 T shirt!
    No idea how that happened?!

Every time I have a problem......
Must be the only person who manages to over charge myself.

    Afternoon peeps.

Decluttering house - took 40 kilos of clothes to one of those cash places as flyer through the door stating 50p paid. Unloaded car with the stash and get it weighed to find that its now 25p a kilo.

What a con flood the area with flyers - then lower the price knowing full well that most people would just accept it after making the effort to take there in the first place.

Stuffed it all back in the car and will take it to one of the charity shops some of it still had tags on.

These are a rip off. So glad you put it back in the car. I have started to give children's clothes at least to a friend who takes them for refugee families. They are not allowed to work while they are asylum seekers and they are in so much need.

On a brighter note, I found two cashmere cardigans in my local Barnardo's shop on Monday, one black, one purple, M&S Autograph, looked and smelled new (though I shall still wash them first), for £1.99 each! I'd been looking for woollen stuff to make felt but only found these -- it would be criminal to turn them into felt!

    Afternoon all!

Is everyone getting their shopping lists ready for the pre Black Friday offers starting from tomorrow? I'm after Pokemon Lets Go with poke ball for the Nintendo Switch, a small purple Fitbit Alta HR (currently £119.99!) and a thick luxurious looking dressing gown (ideally less than £25). Plus whatever else happens to take my fancy while I'm bargain hunting :D

Was it Mhoc who likes green and blacks? These are £5.50 on Amazon, thanks to the dark side https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/green-blacks-organic-boxed-chocolates-550-amazon-prime-members-exclusive-3103862

    They were nice bargains.
I've taken a big bag of clothing to the cs this afternoon on my way home.
I take it to one with realistic prices as it annoys me when I visit some shops who try to charge as much as when the items are New!

I was good and didn't buy anything. :T

vouchers do work in waitrose and morrison

This so makes sense in reply to my post about Sweet Sunday...could it be related to a metro icecream offer?!

Went to WHSm and bought 5 x 15 vouchers on amex - nice to be able to chose amount

Same option was available in Wilko but we are a bit voucher heavy atm so instead just got the Mastercard prepaid for 53.95 so £6 profit on each.
    I think....
