I've had a carry on in Sains tonight I was stood at the till for 30minutes:eek: yes a full 30 minutes as one of the coupons wouldn't scan. The people behind me were going off it:o

She could not find a single person to override the till as one of the coupons wouldn't go through.

I had £100 of wine and the same iron as fuzzy:)

She told me all about the shenanigans this morning and said that they were understaffed. They don't have supervisors now just colleagues. And bless her....the one colleague who was over riding was literally run off her feet.

She also told me that a lady went through her till earlier with tubs of Roses or quality street she couldn't remember which. She bought nothing else and double up vouchers were accepted.:think::think:

Just thinking again about this. Perhaps there's loads of stuff goes through with the double up vouchers and we've been sold a lie all these years:rotfl::rotfl:

I mean who would ever try it?:D

Would the above items be under seasonal? Can't remember if it was last year or the year before but chocolate that was in Xmas promo stands went through, I purchased some😀

Not been in yet to spend mine, busy working out how many bottles of plonk I can get for £200.00

Customer service lady said you can spend then on anything in store excluding food and normal wine 🤔 she repeated that the next day when I doubled again

As rusty said, some chocolates are included in the seasonal category :).

I would think any displayed in that section instore are fair game, and worth challenging if the till throws a wobbly.

You seem to do a lot of sport :) please think about when you are older. My husband was a gymnast and a trapeze artist etc and now he s riddled with arthritis and can hardly get up the stairs.

    Good Morning all :)

Off to Chester early this morning probably with all the school kids who are bigger than me lol. Guess I ll blend in well :o:p

Wow, a gymnast and trapeze too! He must be very talented. I'm good at running but otherwise I just trundle around on my bike ;). Luckily cycling and swimming are very low impact activities so are very kind on the joints :). Running less so, but I do just love it. I do rest up if I feel any niggles. I've got much better at that. I used to try and 'run through' aches and pains but it never does me any good...funnily enough!

4 PDEs for me today. I'll be venturing into town after work to see if there are any calendars or codes left for O2.

I used to run, many moons ago, ended up swapping it for cycling as I got a little older and my running partner gave up. Rather glad as I ended up with runners knee, ended up ignoring it for a while thinking it would go away till it got extremely painful. Really didn't know what had caused it, it is improving gradually, the cycling is helping, but it was a bit of a reality check
