    WH Smith 02 priority :)

I'm leaving the rest of my S shopping until Saturday. The shelves were still full this evening.
The next lot of wines I'm going for are the pricier ones for over Christmas:)

Not much at £6 a bottle, most wines had increased to £7/£10.
Is there one you can recommend?
I enjoyed the Vintage Cava last year but it's more expensive than the prosseco so didn't bother today.

My Denby order arrived today. I used up some T clubcard vouchers that were expiring the end of this month. For not much more than the cost of postage I got a beautiful cruet set and a garlic squasher:D

Look how garlic squashers have evolved over the years:rotfl:

I must admit, most of the wines I picked up today were £6. They are earmarked for a couple of soir!es ....an hour into which, no one will have a clue what they are drinking and I'm not wasting good wine:rotfl:

I think I need to do more research on the more expensive ones before the weekend. The CremAnt de Loire was lovely last year but I can't remember how much it is

Just thinking again about this. Perhaps there's loads of stuff goes through with the double up vouchers and we've been sold a lie all these years:rotfl::rotfl:

I mean who would ever try it?:D

    Me.:o

I tried it today when I saw that they were putting some of the vouchers through as cash. I added some of the alcohol Christmas gifts
Which are excluded and all went through no problem. I thinks it’s because of this override. Thought I might take a look at the gin advent calendar tomorrow.

Well I got most of my shopping in Sainsbury's but could not find a bag I liked even though I saw loads when it was 25% off & DD decided she did not want to go out after school so I still have £100 to spend at the weekend. I found it really difficult to find some item this year as the sizes I wanted were not there. I did get a couple in wrong size of same item that I can hopefully swap next week. I could have got in OH's dressing gown with him as they only has ExL & he needs a L.

Has anyone returned anything this year & how do they do it?

I returned things and she gave me cash but did say next year it ll be on a gift card . Dont knowwhat prompted her to say that though and even how she knew .

The Fage yoghurt is down to 70p in T with 50p back on GJ.

San Pellegrino is £3 in S with £1.30 back on GJ...this is for mhoc who likes her aspirational fridge at Christmas:D

Whilst we have a normal garlic crusher, we also have one of these

We freeze our tomatoes in bags, raw and whole MKS, when they defrost the skins come off really easily, and they are perfect for cooking with.

    Thanks TS x
